Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

The duties will include assisting and supporting the work of the Community Development Section in Knockanrawley Resource Centre. The day to day duties include preparing and setting rooms for groups and meetings, general admin duties to support the work of the community development section, assisting with the different community groups, outreach for the centre, promoting the various groups and activities in the centre.. This role also includes reception duties including covering reception for holidays, sick leave etc as required. Any additional duties as they arise.
