**Job Description:**
Rationel Windows & Doors is seeking an experienced and reliable Window Fitter to join our team in Galway. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, repairing and replacing glass installations in residential and commercial properties while ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities:**
• Examines drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and measurements;
• Measures, cuts and prepares plain, coloured, safety and ornamental glass for installation;
• Smoothes and finishes glass edges and positions glass securely into frames or grooved lead strips;
• Applies mastic, putty or adhesive between glass and frames and removes excess material for a clean finish;
• Installs mirror panels on interior and exterior walls;
• Repairs and replaces damaged or broken glass panels and fittings;
• Ensures all fitting and glazing work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.

**Requirements:**
• Previous experience as a Window Fitter, Glazier or similar role;
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications;
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail;
• Knowledge of glass fitting materials, tools and installation techniques;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Good communication skills and strong work ethic.
