Full job description
Irish Oxygen Company is a leading provider of medical & industrial gas solutions, dedicated to supplying high-quality gases and medical devices to both the private and public sector. In 2016 Irish Oxygen partnered with the Italian company SOL Group to produce medical gases, and now supply medical gas and devices to many of Ireland's Hospitals and Medical facilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as an ADR Rigid Driver for multi drop deliveries. The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Responsibilities:
Operate a rigid vehicle (HGV Class 2/C) for the delivery of compressed and liquefied gases to customers across the country.
Ensure strict adherence to all ADR regulations, including proper vehicle placarding, documentation and load securing.
Follow planned delivery routes efficiently, optimising for time , while being adaptable to changes as required.
Conduct thorough daily vehicle pre-use checks (walk-around checks) in accordance with company policy and legal requirements, reporting any defects promptly.
Safely load and unload gas cylinders and bulk tanks at the plant and customer sites, utilizing appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment (e.g., tail lifts, pump trucks).
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with customers, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries and addressing any queries respectfully.
Be proactive in identifying and reporting any health and safety hazards or incidents. Participate in safety briefings and training sessions.
Be willing to undertake other duties as reasonably requested by management to support the overall operation of the plant.

Required Skills & Experience:
Full, clean HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license is essential.
Valid ADR certificate for gases (Class 2) is mandatory
Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
Experience as an HGV driver, preferably in dangerous goods transportation.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving gas cylinders.
