CNC OPERATOR Location: Station House Glanbeg Kinsale Co. Cork Eircode P17 TK50 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €36,605 per annum Engineering and Design Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring safe and efficient production; Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications; Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.); Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and inserts; Troubleshoot machining issues, make necessary adjustments, and monitor machine performance; Work with various materials including aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, and bronze; Carry out routine machine maintenance and complete accurate production and quality documentation. Requirements: A technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field is highly desirable. Minimum 2 years proven experience as CNC Operator; Strong ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools; Reliable team player with excellent attention to detail.
