Employer: Connor Culleton Plant Hire Job Title: 1x Blocklayer Description: BG Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of Connor Culleton Plant Hire, 1 x experienced Block Layer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying blocks, bricks, and stone to construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, and other masonry structures. They will work from plans and specifications to deliver high-quality, durable workmanship on residential and/or commercial projects. Responsibilities: Lay blocks, bricks, and stone accurately according to drawings and specifications Build and repair walls, foundations, partitions, chimneys, and other masonry structures Prepare and mix mortar and other bonding materials Read and interpret construction drawings and site plans Ensure all work is level, plumb, and structurally sound Carry out repairs, restoration, and maintenance work where required Operate hand tools and masonry equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area Work collaboratively with other trades on site Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience relevant to the role is required Salary: €36,605 Hours per week: 39 Location: Connor Culleton Plant Hire, Coolhill, Windgap, Co Kilkenny Ireland, R95 YCC1 Please send your CV: jobs@bgrecruitment.ie
