Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The sponsoring group for this scheme is Longford Town Suburbs clg but the participant will be based in a charity shop in Longford town.

Duties include: 
- Delivering a high standard of customer service to customers at all times, and be efficient and courteous at all times.
- Deal responsibly with customer complaints.
- Assist the manager to merchandise the shop in order to make best use of the space available.
- To ensure the shelves are appropriately stocked with merchandise, and to ensure that merchandise is displayed in accordance with the shops policy, and is clearly labelled and priced.
- To ensure that stock is in good, sale-able condition and that the shop and stock room are is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- To operate the till and to handle cash in strict compliance with company policy, and to record all transactions correctly on the cash register.
