Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties to include assisting childcare leader on a daily basis in the general running of the facility; to assist with daily activities; to meet the needs of the children in your care; organise and supervise play, arts & crafts, etc. You will achieve a Stage 1 Early Learning and Care Childcare qualification, equivalent to the old QQI Level 5 Childcare qualification (with the possibility to progress to Stage 2) which will enable you to obtain employment in childcare. Candidates must be prepared to dedicate themselves to classes and study.
