The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end supply chain operations for our Academic Library Supply business. This includes procurement, inventory management, demand planning, and logistics coordination to ensure efficient and timely delivery of books and related products.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the supply chain process from procurement through to distribution.
Support demand forecasting to ensure adequate stock levels during peak academic and seasonal periods.
Analyse sales trends and demand patterns to support purchasing decisions.
International Procurement: Manage relationships with global Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, negotiating contracts and 
ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Maintain accurate records using ERP and inventory management systems.
Data Analysis: Generate monthly performance reports on KPI metrics, including supplier lead times, freight costs, 
and inventory turnover
Monitor inventory levels and support inventory optimisation across a large product range.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8 or Higher ) in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory, or related operations.
Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Good communication and organisational skills.
