Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic with Auto Electrical experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while also carrying out electrical diagnostics and repairs. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service. Requirements: Qualified Motor Mechanic or equivalent trade certification. Proven experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. Strong auto electrical diagnostic and repair experience. Ability to use modern diagnostic tools and equipment. Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Full, clean driving licence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals. Conduct auto electrical diagnostics and repairs, including wiring faults, charging systems, starter motors, alternators, lighting systems, sensors, and electronic control units (ECUs). Install and troubleshoot vehicle electrical accessories and systems. Carry out vehicle inspections and identify potential issues. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service work completed. Work collaboratively with other technicians and workshop staff. Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
