Our client is searching for an experienced Vehicle Paint Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of vehicle paint preparation, refinishing, and finishing work, delivering high-quality results that meet manufacturer standards and exceed customer expectations. The successful candidate will take pride in their workmanship, maintain excellent attention to detail, and contribute to the efficient operation of the workshop.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician, Spray Painter, or Automotive Refinisher.
Strong knowledge of vehicle paint preparation and application techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Full driving licence.

Responsibilities:
Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
Mix and match paint colours accurately using manufacturer specifications and colour-matching technology.
Apply paint coatings using spray equipment and ensure a high-quality finish.
Carry out blending, polishing, and finishing work to achieve seamless repairs.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain paint shop equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organised.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Work collaboratively with panel beaters, estimators, and other workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
