Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable CNC Milling Operator to set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC controls, tooling, and quality inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis/4-axis/5-axis)
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers, gauges).
Maintain accurate production records and complete job documentation.
Conduct routine machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines.
Familiarity with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, etc.).
Experience of working in a tool/die manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Skilled in using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with CAM software.
Knowledge of different materials (e.g., aluminium, steel).
Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
