Staff Nurse 
Location: County Louth
Salary: From €20.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
Applicant must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU.

We are seeking compassionate and professional Staff Nurses to join person-centred care teams in residential healthcare settings across Ireland. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a central role in planning, directing, and delivering high-quality care while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for residents.
You will report to the Care Manager/Person in Charge and ensure compliance with HIQA standards, safety requirements, and nursing best practice.
 Responsibilities
Assess, document, and monitor residents’ health and wellbeing.
Safely administer medication in line with HIQA and NMBI guidelines.
Develop and maintain individualised, person-centred care plans.
Provide professional nursing care, including palliative and long-term support.
Ensure clear and accurate handovers at every shift change.
Recognise and respond to signs of wellbeing or ill-being.
Maintain accurate resident records and documentation.
Uphold infection control and Health and Safety standards.
Represent your workplace positively in all communications.
Support new staff and provide mentorship where appropriate.
Protect vulnerable adults and uphold safeguarding policies.
Monitor use of resources and report misuse or damage.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Contribute to a homely, respectful, and positive care environment.

Requirements
Current NMBI Registration (An Bord Altranais)
Nursing Degree/Diploma
Previous nursing experience desirable (elderly care an advantage)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
