The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has a number of vacancies to fill. The post will be offered on a Permanent Wholetime basis, subject to the terms of the provisions of the Technological Universities Act 2018 and National Terms & Conditions will apply. The appointee will play an important role in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering both in teaching and conducting research in the areas of Electrical Apprenticeship Education. The appointee will be required to teach on the Level 6 to Level 9 Programmes in this discipline area. The appointee will play an active role in the academic direction of Electrical Apprenticeship Programmes including teaching, research, academic assessment, and academic administration. Successful candidates will be engaged in the provision of the electrical apprenticeship programmes in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Tallaght or City Campus. A panel will be formed from which vacancies at this level may be filled on a Permanent Wholetime basis. Hours of Work: This is a wholetime post. In addition to teaching hours (up to 18 hours per week), attendance is required from Monday to Friday during the general working hours of the School and University. Location: City and Tallaght, TU Dublin. Salary: The Assistant Lecturer Salary Scale is: • €47,572 - €64,372 (New Entrants) Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
