Loughnanes Joinery is a family-owned joinery business with a proud tradition of delivering high-quality craftsmanship across Ireland. We specialise in bespoke joinery solutions and currently have several large-scale projects underway. We are now seeking experienced Furniture Makers/ Craft Woodworkers to join our growing team at Monivea, Athenry, Co. Galway

The Role
We are looking for skilled Furniture Makers/Craft Woodworkers who are capable of managing a project from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be confident working from detailed technical drawings through to production and final quality checks.

Key Responsibilities
-Interpret and work from detailed joinery drawings and specifications
-Main duties would include manufacturing fire doors and screens, stairs, and general joinery which will be used in office fit outs, shopfronts, hotel fit outs.
-Measure, cut, and assemble bespoke wooden components using a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools
-Ensure high-quality standards are met throughout the production process
-Perform quality control checks on finished pieces
-Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and resolve issues
-Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
-Follow all health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:
-Minimum 5 years' experience in cabinet making required
-Strong understanding of joinery techniques and production processes
-Experience making stairs
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
-High attention to detail and craftsmanship
-Excellent problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Fluent English required
