Salary: €38,000 – €52,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Fixed-term with potential for permanency
  
Supporting Stability and Routine in a Residential Setting
  
This Social Care Worker role in Wexford is based within a residential service supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, where consistency, routine, and a calm, structured environment are key.
  
You will play an important role in supporting individuals in their day-to-day lives, helping to create a safe and stable setting while encouraging independence and personal development over time.
  
The focus is on building trust, maintaining consistency, and supporting individuals in a way that is both practical and person-centred.
  
What You Will Be Doing
Supporting individuals with daily routines and personal development
Creating a stable and structured living environment
Encouraging independence in a way that suits each individual
Supporting social interaction and engagement where appropriate
Promoting dignity, respect, and individual choice
Working in line with HIQA standards and care plans
Collaborating with team members and external supports
  
What You Will Bring
Degree in Social Care (Level 7 or 8)
CORU registration or eligibility
Experience in residential or disability services
Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional practice
Manual Handling & First Aid (or willingness to update)
