Speech and Language Therapist | Co. Wicklow Location: Co. Wicklow Contract: Full-Time | 39 Hours per Week Duration: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Salary: From €43,268 per annum (€21.34 per hour), depending on experience Speech and Language Therapist Jobs Wicklow | Adult Disability Services Are you a CORU-registered Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a meaningful difference while developing your career within Adult Disability Services? We are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist disability service supporting people with autism across Leinster. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred supports that promote communication, independence and quality of life. Based in Co. Wicklow, this role will involve travel across services throughout Leinster. What You'll Do Conduct Speech and Language Therapy assessments and interventions. Undertake communication and competency assessments. Develop and implement person-centred communication support plans. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and support staff. Provide guidance and support to staff teams where appropriate. Support individuals to maximise communication, participation and independence. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Ensure services are delivered in line with professional standards and best practice. Promote positive outcomes and continuous service improvement. What You'll Need Qualifications Recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy. Current CORU Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist. Experience Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience as a Speech and Language Therapist. Experience working within Adult Disability Services. Experience supporting people with autism is desirable. Strong understanding of person-centred practice. Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills. Ability to manage your own caseload and work independently. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Full clean Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle and appropriate business insurance. Desirable Membership of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT). This Role Offers Experience within specialist Adult Disability Services.
