This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.
Activ8 Solar Energies is currently offering a 6-month placement opportunity for a HR Administrator Assistant on its HR team. This position will be based onsite at the company’s headquarters in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. The eligible participant will receive full training in all aspects of the placement. They will form part of the HR Team and will provide valuable support to the HR function. There will be a mentor to guide and coach the participant. Learning Outcomes & Day to Day Activities • Mentored in the management of the HR inbox, shown how to respond to employee queries promptly and professionally. • Trained to update and maintain accurate employee records and how to produce reports using the HRIS. • Assist with ad hoc duties for the People Generalist and wider People team. • Support payroll in administration of employee benefits, including statutory leave, pensions, health insurance, and other benefit schemes • Mentored in co-ordinating the onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration. • Assist in the organisation of company events and wellbeing initiatives.
This is a training and work experience opportunity, no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection.
