Job Description
Lift Engineer role in Cork, Ireland at O’Donovan Lifts - Join Our Team!
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, including overtime and call-out opportunities.
Due to continued growth, O'Donovan Lifts is seeking qualified Lift Engineers to join our service and repair team.
The role will involve servicing, maintenance, breakdown response, and installation of passenger, goods, platform and escalators around Munster mainly Cork and surrounding area.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5pm
On Call- 1 in every 3 weeks

Lift Engineer Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on lifts and lifting equipment
Attend lift breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently and safely
Complete servicing, fault finding, and minor repairs on a variety of lift types
Ensure all work is completed to a high safety and quality standard
Carry out risk assessments and maintain accurate service records
Participate in our on-call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification
At least 6 months previous experience working as a Lift Engineer
Full clean driving license
Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable:
Safe Pass
Manual Handling
Experience installing lifts
