How You’ll Make an Impact Deliver high-quality, full-time early years care and education, leading your room and team to support children’s holistic development. Ensure curriculum planning and learning experiences align with Aistear and Siolta, maintaining compliance and quality standards. Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, helping them support children’s development and wellbeing. Contribute to a culture of professionalism, inclusion, safety, and care within your room and across the centre. What You’ll Need to Succeed Must-Haves At least 1 year of experience in a similar early years leadership role Fetac Level 6 (or recognised equivalent) in Early Childhood Education Level 6–8 qualifications preferred LINC qualification preferred Copies of qualifications and 2 written references Garda Vetting (we will manage this for you) International police clearance if applicable (for those who have lived abroad 6+ months) Fluent English Leadership capability, reliability, empathy, and passion for working with children Nice-to-Haves Previous experience leading a team or managing a classroom Strong understanding of Aistear and Siolta frameworks Interest in developing a long-term career in childcare leadership The Perks, the Pay, and the Purpose What the Role Offers You A meaningful leadership role in a values-driven childcare centre Supportive colleagues and clear opportunities to lead and grow Access to training, CPD, and industry-leading development programmes Recognition for your leadership, care, and attention to detail Salary & Benefits Competitive hourly rate: €18.00 to €19.28 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience) (The rate is inclusive of a location-specific supplement of €2 and payable while assigned to the Pembroke centre) 30 paid holiday days (including bank holidays, with increases based on service length) 5 days statutory sick pay FlyeFit Gym discount 10% discount on HSF Health Plan
