We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our growing dealership team. This role is focused on ensuring that all vehicles meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability before being offered for sale, while also providing technical support and maintenance services for customers during the post-sale period.

Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive inspections and mechanical assessments on vehicles prior to sale.
Carry out preventative maintenance, servicing, and necessary repairs to prepare vehicles for retail.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI).
Provide after-sales servicing, maintenance, and repair support.
Inspect engines, transmissions, suspension, braking, steering, HVAC systems, and electronic control modules.
Ensure repairs comply with manufacturer specifications.
Perform road tests before and after repairs.
Maintain detailed service records and inspection reports.
Operate and maintain workshop equipment.
Work closely with the sales and service teams.
Act as the final quality checkpoint before vehicles are sold or returned.
Support continuous improvement of workshop processes.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Automotive Technician or Motor Mechanic.
Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicle systems.
Experience using advanced diagnostic software and workshop equipment.
Ability to inspect, diagnose, and prepare vehicles to dealership retail standards.
