This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.


Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Moy Innovations CLG is a charity/ SE, part funded by Pobal through the CSP Programme. We support employment/training of individuals facing challenges. We currently have a vacancy for a production assistant, to assist and learn in the day to day operations. 
We carry out light assembly packaging for the pharma industry on site here, we also manufacture/distribute artifical arrangements. The aim of this role is to provide supervised beneficial/practical experience to said canidate.


What You Will Learn During the Placement as Production Assistant

Throughout the 6 month programme, the participant will be trained/supervised in how to:
•	Pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
•	Load and unload delivery vehicles using safe lifting techniques
•	Maintain and organise stock inventory
•	Check deliveries in and out of the warehouse
•	Follow Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures
•	Participate in routine stock checks and identify discrepancies
•	Work effectively as part of a production team
•	Follow company policies, including health and safety guidelines.
•	Assist in the day to running of the business, by learning the trade by shadowing the manager.
 
This is a supervised training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the DSP. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.
