Powerscourt Hotel Resort Spa is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Financial Analyst to
join our Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Finance Manager, the successful
candidate will be responsible for ensuring revenues align with forecasts, investigating variances,
and delivering comprehensive performance analyses of payroll, cost of sales (COS), and expenses
to Senior Management and Owners.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Daily Revenue Reports (DBR) and compile daily Income Audit Packs.
Analyse actual performance against projected performance and distribute Executive Critiques.
Analyse weekly/monthly payroll performance against budget using Alkimii LMS.
Build performance dashboards in Power BI to deliver clear communication to decision-makers.
Analyse departmental expenses and food/beverage margins using Procure Wizard, identifying
areas of underperformance and proposing ROI solutions.
Assist the Finance team with month-end closing procedures.
Reconcile outlet sales and ensure future compliance across departments.
Utilise and maintain expertise in core financial software, including Sage Financials, Oracle
Opera PMS, Lightspeed POS, Alkimii LMS, and Procure Wizard.

Requirements: 
A relevant degree in Financial Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) and financial accounting packages (e.g.,
Sage).
