Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Job/Position: Housekeeper/Cleaning Assistant.

Reports to: Property Services Coordinator & CE Supervisor. 

Purpose of the Project: To give work experience, training, and support that will help participants with employment in the future.

Learners will work in ADAPT House.  

Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe, welcoming and user friendly environment.
Clean apartments. 
Clean other areas of ADAPT House to health and safety standards.
Clean and keep the building in good condition. 
Report safety and security hazards.
Fill in any forms required for cleaning and supplies.
Attend training and staff meetings.
Be flexible and willing to help out in other areas as and when required.
