We are currently seeking an experienced bar manager to join our team. The Abberley is a vibrant and lively bar located in the heart of Tallaght. The venue consists of a beautifully furnished indoor space and a large beer garden. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a variety of entertainment - sports on every screen, live music and DJ's.

This role would suit someone who is results-driven with a passion for delivering an exemplary service with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. If you're a determined hospitality leader with a passion for both business and people, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Day to day running of the business and premises.
Bar inventory and management.
Scheduling and overseeing of staff rosters and duties.
Recruit, train and supervise staff.
Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing and health & safety regulations.
Communicating with vendors to ensure appropriate levels of stock are on hand for forecasted demand.
Arranging music and booking bands with assistance of booking agent.
Manage cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and control inventory.
Handle customer complaints and maintain service standards.
Management of staff training, appraisals, recognition, career journey, rewards.

Our ideal candidate:
Will have 2 years’ experience in a similar management role.
Strong people management skills.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Dynamic and outgoing with a genuine desire to provide a superb customer experience and motivate the team.
Ability to work 45 hours per week
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
