We are seeking a reliable and experienced truck driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service and road safety.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company trucks and vehicles in accordance with road regulations.
Transport goods to designated locations on schedule.
Load and unload cargo when required.
Complete delivery documentation accurately and maintain detailed driving records.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
Ensure cargo is secured properly and transported safely.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and transport regulations.
Requirements
Valid truck driving licence appropriate for the vehicle class.
Valid CPC qualification (where required).
Clean driving record preferred.
Previous truck driving experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes.
Strong time-management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and professionally.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
