Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Working with Riverstown Tidy Towns, the successful candidate will have responsibility for maintaining public areas, strimming, lawnmowing, leaf blowing and the keeping the area litter free.
Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to tasks such as keeping all road signs clean, emptying litter bins, ensuring pathways are weed free and that all weeds, hedge trimmings etc. are collected and disposed of in a responsible manner.
The candidate will also be involved in tasks such as planting and watering flowers & shrubs during the summer months, general upkeep of all flowerbeds throughout the year, as well as general maintenance and some painting.
The candidate will be responsible for the safe use and general maintenance of all equipment, and a full driving licence is preferrable. 
The successful candidate may also be required to undertake any other project work as requested by the sponsor group from time to time.
This position is based in Riverstown Co Tipperary.
