Job Description Our Partner is seeking an experienced CNC Mill-Turn Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join their growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced CNC technology in a modern production environment, manufacturing high-precision components to demanding quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC 4-axis Mill-Turn / Lathe machines while ensuring production targets, quality requirements, and safety standards are consistently achieved. Role CNC Mill-Turn Programmer / Setter / Operator (4-Axis Lathe) Reporting To: Production Supervisor Required Skills & Experience Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC Mill-Turn or CNC Lathe machines (4-axis). Ability to create and modify CNC programs independently. Experience using CAD/CAM software. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Experience using precision measuring equipment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good level of spoken and written English. Desirable Experience with Mastercam is a bonus, however the company is open to upskill whoever has experience with a different software. Experience with FANUC controls. Experience working in a precision engineering or high-specification manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Program CNC Mill-Turn / 4-axis Lathe machines using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred). Set up machines, tooling, fixtures, and workholding equipment. Operate CNC machines to manufacture components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Optimise programs and machining processes to improve efficiency and quality. Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks. Adjust machine offsets and tooling as required to maintain tolerances. Carry out routine machine maintenance and TPM activities. Troubleshoot machining and programming issues. Maintain accurate production records. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
