Glenmore Farm Estate is seeking an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic with experience working on agricultural machinery and heavy farm equipment to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a modern farming estate.
Working as part of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural machinery and dairy farm equipment, helping to ensure our operations continue to run safely and efficiently throughout the year.
The Role
The successful candidate will carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs across a varied fleet of agricultural machinery and equipment, responding quickly to breakdowns and ensuring machinery downtime is kept to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair agricultural machinery and farm equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Maintain and repair tractors, trailers, combines, loaders, telehandlers, slurry equipment, and other agricultural machinery.
Service and maintain dairy farm equipment including feeding systems, slurry pumps, agitators, milking parlour equipment, milk cooling systems, and other farm infrastructure.
Carry out preventative maintenance programmes to maximise equipment reliability.
Respond to machinery breakdowns efficiently and effectively.
Maintain accurate maintenance records where required.
Keep the workshop and work areas clean, organised, and safe.
Support the wider farming operation during busy seasonal periods.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.

About You
Previous experience as an Agricultural Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or a similar role.
Strong experience maintaining and repairing heavy agricultural machinery.
Excellent knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and mechanical systems.
Previous experience working within a farming or dairy farm environment is highly desirable.
Ability to diagnose faults and work independently to resolve mechanical issues.
Practical, reliable, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous.
Full driving licence preferred.
