Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Maintenance Caretaker to assist with general upkeep of organic garden.

Duties will include:
- light carpentry e.g. repairing raised beds, garden furniture, erecting bird protection over fruit bushes etc.
- assisting with changing water filters, light bulbs, lighting the wood burner during Winter months etc.
- assisting with maintenance of garden machinery, lawnmower, hedge cutter etc. 
- general building and garden maintenance that may arise during the year.

19.5 hours per week, usually worked over 3 days. Flexibility around working arrangements.
