Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The Environment Team with Forbairt na Rosann CE Scheme, in Dungloe, helps maintain and improve the local community's outdoor spaces. Duties include grass cutting, hedge trimming, litter collection, planting, painting, maintaining walkways and community facilities, and carrying out general maintenance tasks. The role involves working as part of a team, using equipment safely, and following health and safety procedures. Training is provided. A good understanding of English is required (minimum TEG B2 level).
