Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Vision Ireland (formally NCBI) provide practical  and emotional supports, rehabilitation services and hands on training to help people who are blind or visually impaired. The majority of their income comes from their retail shops.
Duties will include retail sales, counter/till operation, ensuring stock is rotated and replaced, dealing with the public, sorting through donations, pricing, tagging, window display and ensuring the premise is in a clean and presentable condition.
You will also have the opportunity to participant in certified training to enhance your employability prospects.
