Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

You will have a genuine interest in your own Training and Development and you will be expected to work towards a Major award QQI over a 3 year period.
Duties: 	
1.      Assist in serving meals/Tea/Coffee in the Community Café.
2.     Greet members of the Public in a friendly fashion.
3.	Keep own work area clean at all times.
4.	Assist other café staff in food service.
5.	Clear and sanitise tables after each use.
6.     Assist the Chef and other staff with other duties.
7.      Follow instruction/direction of the Chef.
8.      Follow food safety compliance, complying with basic hygiene rules.
9.      Attend HACCP Training.
10.     Attend Manual Handling Health and Safety.
11.      Attend Fire Safety Training.
