Civil Engineering Apprentice – Earn While You Learn

Start your Civil Engineering career with Collen Construction. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Apprentice to join our team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining practical experience on major construction projects while studying towards a recognised Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering. 

As a Civil Engineering Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers and construction professionals, developing the technical, practical and professional skills needed for a successful career in the construction industry. You will gain exposure to a range of engineering activities, including site operations, surveying, quality control, project coordination and health and safety management. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working as part of a team and learning in a dynamic project environment. 

What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting engineering teams with day-to-day site activities
* Assisting with setting out, surveying and quality inspections
* Monitoring project progress and maintaining site records
* Supporting health, safety, environmental and quality standards
* Working with site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
* Attending college and completing apprenticeship-related coursework
* Developing technical knowledge and professional skills through on-the-job learning

What We're Looking For
* Minimum 320 points in the Irish Leaving Certificate
* Strong interest in civil engineering, construction or the built environment
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
