Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

St Gabriel's Centre is a Health & Social Care scheme therefore CE Participants have access to major award training.  Please contact your local DSP Employment Services/Intreo Office to check your eligibility to apply for this vacancy. 
Duties include: Help physiotherapist in carrying out treatment Programmes with children – daily i.e. standing, walking programmes. 	Personal Care of Children in Hydro Sessions.  Administration - update appointments etc.  General cleaning of physiotherapy equipment.	
3 references and garda vetting are a requirement before commencement.  Must be interested in working with children with disabilities.
