Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Rathnure Killanne Blackstairs Community Employment Scheme has a vacancy for Grounds Person / Environmental Workers in the Rathgarogue area. Duties include grass cutting, strimming, grounds maintenance, litter picking, sweeping, upkeep of community facilities, and maintaining the Community Hall, Community Park, and surrounding areas. A horticultural background and basic experience using a ride-on lawnmower and strimming equipment are an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.

This is a 52-week Community Employment position. Applicants must meet Community Employment eligibility criteria.
