Actavo (Ireland) Ltd, Westland House, Westland Park, Willow Road, Dublin 12, D12 DK12, require Commissioning Electricians – Substations to carry out the testing, verification, commissioning and energisation of substation electrical systems, ensuring all assets are safe, operational and compliant before handover. Duties include developing commissioning plans and procedures, performing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, testing protection relays and control schemes, conducting functional and system integration testing, performing SAT and FAT activities, assisting with energisation and network integration, producing commissioning reports and test documentation, liaising with utility representatives and design teams, supporting fault analysis and troubleshooting and ensuring compliance with utility and industry standards. Candidates must hold a Master Electrician qualification or equivalent recognised electrical qualification and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, including commissioning HV substations, protection relay testing and working with protection and control systems. Suitable references of experience are essential, and candidates must be hard working and capable of making decisions. Salary €45,000 - 55,000 per annum based on a 39-hour week.
