Pat & Anne Kelleher are seeking two reliable Dairy Farm Assistants for their dairy farm at Roovesmore, Coachford, Co. Cork. These are permanent full-time positions. The gross basic salary is €36,605 per annum for 39 hours per week.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist with milking and daily dairy routines.

Feed, bed and provide daily care for livestock.

Clean the milking parlour, equipment and work areas and maintain high hygiene standards.

Monitor animal health and report any concerns.

Assist during calving and with general livestock husbandry.

Carry out general farm maintenance and yard duties as required.

Follow all farm health and safety procedures and farm policies.

Requirements and skills:

Minimum 1 year of practical dairy farm or livestock experience.

Ability to carry out physical farm work in outdoor conditions.

Good timekeeping, reliability and ability to work as part of a team.

Ability to follow instructions and communicate sufficiently in English for workplace safety.

No formal qualification is required. Training will be provided on farm-specific systems and procedures.
