Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Western Alzheimers Mayo would like to recruit a Multi Task / Housekeeping Assistant for our Respite Home Marian House, Ballindine, Co. Mayo F12 C950.    The successful applicant will work as part of a team responsible for the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our nursing home as advised by the Nurse Manager. 
To interact with service users and colleagues in a positive and helpful way. Ensuring that all public areas and bedrooms are maintained to the highest levels of housekeeping, duties to include but not limited to thorough cleaning of all areas, dusting, vacuuming, and handling laundry. Cleaning bathrooms and restocking toiletries. Complying with all relevant health and safety legislation and adhering to infection control policies and procedures. Cleaning experience not essential as comprehensive induction training available & full support and guidance offered to staff to complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare professional qualifications.
