Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Assisting the Playgroup/Crèche Childcare Leader in maintaining a safe, healthy and happy environment for the children to grow and learn in. Attend all Training Courses as directed by the DLDC Community Employment Supervisor and the Playschool/Crèche Childcare Manager. Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Playschool/Crèche Childcare Manager /DLDC C.E. Supervisor. Full training in QQI Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care Level 5 and 6 will be provided. Achieved at least a C1 Advanced proficiency level in the English Language
