Job Description
Killeenyarda Construction Ltd trading as Thurles Recycling Centre is a recycling centre based in Tipperary, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to carry out the inspection, maintenance, repair and installation of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment used in the company's recycling and waste processing operations, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective and predictive mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment used in recycling and waste processing operations.
Interpret technical drawings and mechanical specifications to carry out maintenance, repair and installation work.
Inspect, diagnose and repair faults in conveyors, shredders, balers, hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes and other industrial mechanical equipment.
Dismantle, repair, replace, adjust and reassemble mechanical components to ensure equipment reliability and minimise operational downtime.
Install, test and commission mechanical machinery and equipment, carrying out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance.
Comply with company procedures and health and safety regulations while maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Requirements
Proven experience in the mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery or heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical specifications and maintenance documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
No formal academic qualification is required; relevant practical experience will be considered equivalent.

Annual Salary: €36.605
Hourly Rate: €18,05
Hours per Week: 39h
