Our client, a leading home improvement supply and installation business based in Tralee is looking for a Technical Surveyor (qualified plumber) to join their team. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional looking to move into a more technical, customer-facing role. Working as part of the heating division, you will carry out site surveys, assess installation requirements, and provide expert technical guidance to customers.

The successful candidate will combine strong plumbing and heating knowledge with excellent communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving. Training will be provided on company products and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out on-site surveys, measurements and technical assessments.
- Assess existing plumbing and heating systems and installation requirements.
- Prepare accurate specifications and project documentation.
- Identify technical, compliance and installation considerations and recommend suitable solutions.
- Liaise with installation, sales and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing professional technical advice throughout the sales process.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of technical standards and processes.

Requirements:
- Qualified Plumber (essential).
- Strong knowledge of domestic plumbing and heating systems.
- Experience reading plans, measuring and assessing installation requirements.
- Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to recommend practical solutions.
- Full clean driving license
Willingness to travel to customer sites throughout the region
