T&A Civil Engineering & Building Contractors is seeking a motivated and experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established construction company delivering civil engineering and building projects across Munster.
Key Responsibilities
	Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
	Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
	Prepare and maintain Health & Safety documentation and reports.
	Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions.
	Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions where required.
	Work closely with site managers and project teams to promote a positive safety culture.
	Monitor subcontractor compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
	Assist in the development and implementation of Health & Safety management systems.
Requirements
	Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
	Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
	Good knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
	Excellent communication and organisational skills.
	Full clean driving licence.
	Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
