Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Searching for a person who is flexible, reliable and open to new experiences. Our work covers a broad range of activities and the successful candidate would be good at interacting with others, both young and old, to be able to use their initiative, to be interested in our work and be able to show empathy towards others.

Skillsets for this job required are practical tasks, communication and social skills.

The Main Duties Include:
1. Working with the team to plan and organise events, workshops, coffee mornings
2. Engagement and interacting with the groups that use our service of a mixed age range : children to older people
3. Provision of access to both premises where needed and setting up, cleaning and organising of rooms for groups and events.
4. Support to Greystones Family Resource Centre team with general office tasks and administration.
5. Representing the GFRC and liaising with other professionals and the general public. 
6. Support with promoting the organisation in the local community.
7. Participation at team meetings to support the work of the organisation.
8.Support with general upkeep of the premises and low level DIY tasks.
