Responsibilities:

	Carry out welding work to a high standard using appropriate welding processes and techniques. 
	Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications. 
	Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and weld metal components according to project requirements. 
	Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. 
	Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality, dimensional, and safety standards. 
        Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance welding on existing equipment and structures as required. 
	Follow company health and safety procedures at all times and maintain a safe working environment. 
	Ensure materials, tools, and work areas are kept organised and in good condition. 
	Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and other production personnel to meet deadlines and production targets. 
	Report any defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:
	Previous experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment. 
	Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication plans. 
	Competence in TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and/or Stick/Manual Arc (SMAW) welding processes. 
	Good understanding of welding symbols, measurements, and tolerances. 
	Knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to welding and fabrication. 
	Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
	High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work. 
	Good problem-solving and practical skills. 
	Reliable, punctual, and flexible in meeting operational requirements. 
	Relevant welding qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
