Position: Waiter/Waitress Location: Co.Meath Salary: €14.15 per hour (gross) Start Date: As soon as possible About Us A family-run traditional hotel is renowned for its homely charm and warm welcome. We pride ourselves on sourcing all of our food locally and preparing it fresh each day, ensuring every guest enjoys an authentic Irish-midlands experience. Role Overview You will be the face of our dining experience—ensuring every guest feels valued, attended to, and delighted by both our service and our cuisine. Key Responsibilities Greet, seat and present menus to guests with a friendly, professional attitude Take accurate food and beverage orders; communicate special requests to kitchen and bar staff Serve dishes and drinks promptly, checking back to ensure guest satisfaction Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness throughout the service area Handle payments (cash and card) and process bills through our POS system Collaborate closely with team members to maintain smooth service flow, particularly during peak times Uphold all health, safety and hygiene standards in accordance with hotel policies Candidate Profile Previous experience in a similar front-of-house role (restaurants, cafés or hotels) Strong communication skills in English; Irish language skills a plus Friendly, with a genuine passion for hospitality Ability to multitask, stay organised and remain calm under pressure Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays Team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn What We Offer Competitive Pay: €14.15 /hr gross, paid weekly Tips: 100% of guest gratuities shared among front-of-house staff Staff Meals: Complimentary meal during each shift Accommodation: Low-cost shared staff rooms on-site (from €75/week) Training & Career Development: Opportunities for upskilling and internal promotion Please apply to: jobs@euworkforce.ie
