We are a busy restaurant and café specialising in Brazilian cuisine, handcrafted savoury pastries, baked goods, desserts, and traditional Brazilian dishes. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team in Dublin. Main Responsibilities Preparation and cooking of Brazilian-style savoury pastries and traditional finger foods. Prepare fresh doughs, fillings, baked goods, cakes, and desserts on a daily basis. Assist in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion control. Maintain HACCP procedures and comply with food safety and hygiene standards. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and ingredient preparation. Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen organisation. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Work effectively as part of a team in a busy professional kitchen. Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience working in a professional kitchen. Experience preparing Brazilian cuisine, handcrafted savoury pastries, and desserts. Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organisational and time management skills. Good spoken English Maintain a clean and organised work station throughout each shift.
