Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Connemara West Community Projects seeks environmental workers to join our team and contribute to our close-knit community. Responsibilities include:

Assisting tidy towns committees in Letterfrack, Tully, and Tully Cross to fulfil their plans for the national tidy towns competition. This involves maintaining green areas through tasks such as strimming, weed clearing, and painting.

Supporting the care of our community's graveyards, ensuring they are pleasant and welcoming for families and friends who visit.

Contributing to the maintenance of the ATU/Connemara West campus, creating a warm and inviting environment for local families, tourists, and visitors.
