Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
This position is based at the Simon Community Emergency shelter in Dundalk. Duties include cooking basic nutritious meals for groups of service users and residents. Role also involves checking food storage and supplies and assisting with stock control. Strong emphasis on health and safety and hygiene ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and hygenic and foodstuffs are stored and labelled correctly. Compulsory training provided in food hygiene/workplace safety with the oppotunity to avail of further funded training up to QQI major award level. Must be CE eligible to apply , 19.5 hours per week could be morning, afternoon or weekend shift.
