Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Duties: 
Opening and closing building 
Maintenance and repair of equipment, furniture, windows, fixtures and fittings 
Upkeep and renewal of paintwork 
General tidiness of building, disposal of rubbish etc
Keep building grounds in good order
General upkeep of building
Ensuring building is always safe and secure
Making the building safe, particularly adverse weather conditions 
Inform line manager/supervisor of any risks identified 
To keep all maintenance equipment clean and in good working condition 
Assist in the set-up for activities
Liaise with other members of staff 
Adhere to health and safety regulations
Full knowledge of the Health and Safety Plan and Fire Evacuation Plan
Other related duties as required
