Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

Assist in providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
Support in daily routines, including play, learning activities, meals, and outdoor activities.
Help implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion among all children.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the childcare setting.
Assist with risk assessments and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Support staff in implementing infection control measures.
Report any concerns regarding children's welfare, health, or safety to the supervisor.

Assist with maintaining attendance records and other childcare documentation as required.
Support the preparation of learning materials and activity resources.
Help organise and store equipment and supplies.

Work collaboratively with childcare staff, volunteers, and management.
Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities.
Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and the organisation
